Prices, durations, availability and traveller ratings come from our booking catalogue and are refreshed regularly. We store a daily snapshot, which is what lets us say whether a price moved.
Rankings never use raw rating. A 5.0 from eight reviews does not beat a 4.86 from twenty-five thousand, so we weight every score by review volume before ordering anything.
Destination facts — population, area, districts — come from Wikidata (CC0) and Wikivoyage (CC BY-SA 4.0). We use them as facts and write our own text; we never republish someone else's sentences. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are credited on each image.
When we lack data for a destination, we say less rather than filling the gap with estimates.
